Richard Long: 21 May - 1 October 2006

This much anticipated exhibition was the first solo show at Lismore Castle Arts.

The exhibition included specially created, site-specific work incorporating materials gathered from the Co. Waterford landscape, as well as new work produced in response to two walks undertaken in Southern Ireland, including one along the local Blackwater Valley.

A wall work, made by the artist using mud from the banks of the Blackwater River, dominated the exhibition. Other works utilised stone from local quarry or slates from derelict part of the Castle stables.
