Educational Visits

School and college groups are welcome to attend exhibitions, events and talks.

Tours of the main exhibition can be arranged to suit various school, college and educational groups.  Teachers can avail of education packs to be completed by primary school groups on their visit to Lismore Castle Gardens and Galley. Teachers and groups may wish to engage in a tour around the gardens at Lismore Castle viewing the unique contemporary sculptures from such artists as Antony Gormley.

Exhibitions are especially relevant to Leaving Certificate History of Art students studying for their examinations. Teachers may wish to arrange a group visit to the gallery where a tour can specifically focus on issues of curatorship and museology as covered in the Art Leaving Certificate Curriculum.
