School Visits

School and college groups are welcome to attend exhibitions, events and talks.

Tours of the main exhibition can be arranged to suit various school, college and educational groups.  Teachers can avail of education packs to be completed by primary school groups on their visit to Lismore Castle Gardens and Gallery. Teachers and groups may wish to engage in a tour around the gardens at Lismore Castle viewing the unique contemporary sculptures from such artists as Antony Gormley.

We are currently offering a package specifically designed for the Leaving Certificate Art Appreciation question.  This 2 hour intensive course will include:

A guided tour of the gallery
Lighting
Gallery Layout
Display
Artist biography
Understanding of works
Personal response
A focus group covering all areas discussed
A specially compiled information pack
A tour of Lismore Gardens sculptural works
